Horizon Charter Schools (HCS) offer distance learning options (also known as virtual, online, or web-based learning) utilizing computer and internet technology to support teaching and learning.

Most HCS virtual learning options use the Internet to deliver personalized, experience-rich curriculum that supports California content standards and serves as a tool to enhance communication between students and teachers. The various digital curricula allow students to work at their own pace and level.

Instruction is varied, dynamic, and personalized, reflecting the diversity of student needs throughout the school. The focus is on learning through the infusion of technology, rather than learning only about technology.
