California Charter Schools Association Certified Charter School
The California Charter Schools Association (CCSA)
has also named Horizon Charter School as one of the first 100 Certified Charter Schools in the state. CCSA certification validates that the school has undergone rigorous, comprehensive review and upheld the quality standards established by the California charter school movement. Launched in May 2007, the Certified Charter Schools Program is the first in the nation where a state charter movement has defined standards for high quality and accountability and recognized charter schools that meet those standards. The program includes a rigorous, independent review process by Association-approved third-party reviewing agencies that are aligned with the movement’s Quality Standards.
Partnerships for Student-Centered Learning Charter School is currently a candidate for WASC accreditation and will be pursuing CCSA Certification as well.
